A woman gets her official wedding pictures taken by a Mexican photographer in her parents’ home. As with the majority of Mexican immigrants to Beardstown, she is undocumented and uses two names, a fake one for work and her real name for everything else like school registration and health care. Immigrants call their fake name the “Excel name,” in reference to the plant where most of them are employed.
