The circus' crew is from Mexico, the only North American among them an imposing Californian named Corey Smith (second from left.) Most workers have been with Circus Chimera for several years and stay on the job despite the grueling hours and spartian living conditions. They share what is called a sleeper trailer, a giant RV divided into tiny living quarters, a remodeled semi tractor trailer, and the driver's cabins of the circus' trucks.
